Yes, it is. Our voice can be used as one of the most easily available instruments; one we are born with. But that doesn't mean that we have complete control over it. To achieve great tonality, pitch perfection, range, controlled breathing, and more it is necessary to have a proper guide. Better to treat your voice as an instrument.
